Artist Statement

Croocdile and Giraffe Hybrid - Procreate

From a young age, I've always been fascinated by the multitude of forms life can take and have taken in the past. Since then, I strive to depict or create captivating creatures from extant and extinct creatures to exotic fantasy creatures in my art. To reach this standard in my work, I design or depict my creatures with important characteristics in mind, characteristics that are easy for the viewer to spot, in order to give the viewer an idea of how the animal moves, behaves, and survives. In my practice, I push the boundaries of the various forms life can take, through analyzing the animals of today.
